Dr John Osbourne and Sandra have commenced a pilot project on the Mornington Peninsula working with the OZ Child Charity treating children at risk in short term Foster Care and severely disadvantaged families.

Dr Michael Ryan is treating  disadvantaged families and elderly people in pain - using NSW public dental health facilities when they are idle.

Dr David Digges announces a successful recent charity day which was held on 17-18 of May 2008. Nearly 300 patients were treated and 20 practices gave freely of their time, services and first class facilities to care for our clients. 30 dentists gave up a day, plus countless hours in follow up treatment time.

Dr Sandra Short is organising a group of volunteer dentists to visit a remote Cape York  Aboriginal Community to perform urgently needed dentistry.

Dr Chris Hart announces a successful recent charity day which was held on 9 of November 2007.

WA

Another successful Dental Rescue Day was held by the NDF WA on Saturday 21st June 2008.

Six private dental practices opened their doors with a large contingent of volunteer Dentists, Dental Therapists, Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants and administration support staff. Once again another wonderful response from within the Dental Profession in Western Australia in their generosity to give others within their community.
