Current Projects The NDF has entered into a partnership with Colgate to promote Oral Health Care during the month of August 2009 . During August the NDF will hold two Charity Days in each of the following States WA.SA.NSW.Qld Vic to treat Street kids and Homeless people and other severely disadvantaged people who are referred to the NDF via well established charities who work full time in these areas. We invite dentists, hygienists ,Therapists and Nurses to volunteer to assist in helping the needy in their local communities by registering their interest via the NDF Web Site www.nationaldentalfoundation.org.au – volunteering .

public dental health facilities when they are idle.

Dr David Digges announces a successful recent charity day which was held on 17-18 of May 2008. Nearly 300 patients were treated and 20 practices gave freely of their time, services and first class facilities to care for our clients. 30 dentists gave up a day, plus countless hours in follow up treatment time.

On Wednesday 25th November 2009, the National Dental Foundation of WA participated in this event in the City of Perth. As one of the many volunteer service providers operating on this day the National Dental Foundation WA ,where able to provide treatment to many people in need of Dental Care. Thanks to the loan of a Dental Van from the Government Dental Services we where able to perform treatment on the actual day on site in the City Centre. A great band of volunteers from volunteering Australia directed people to the areas and the location of the Dental Team. The volunteer dental team consisting of: Two dentists, an Oral Surgeon and three Dental Nurses, where kept busy all day and where able to provide some form of treatment to at least 55 people.
