Current Projects
The NDF has entered into a partnership with Colgate to promote Oral Health Care during the month of August.
During August the NDF organises Dental Rescue Days in each of the following States, WA, SA, NSW, Qld and Vic, to treat street kids and homeless people and other severely disadvantaged people who are referred to the NDF via well established charities who work full time in these areas.

Dr Michael Ryan is treating disadvantaged families and elderly people in pain - using NSW public dental health facilities when they are idle.

Dr David Digges will be conducting dental rescue days in March & August
The dental rescue day in March will have 25 dentists and will involve 140 appointments
Forward planning for 2011. Minimum of 3 Dental Rescue Days to be held throughout the year. Dates to be announced shortly.

They will also be involved in homeless people treatment using Mobil Clinic which are provided by dental health services WA. NDF volunteers will be assisting in the Kimberly dental project in remote WA during May and June November 2010 - Homeless Connect Day - NDF WA and Dental Health Services WA supplied two chair dental vans to provide free dental treatment. She did really well....she even did a little hygiene work for a couple of patients. We did over 10000 dollars of work...on about 22 patients. Dr Henry Gilkes Dental rescue days will be held in May, August and November In 2011 the National Dental Foundation in South Australia plans to hold 3 Dental Rescue “weeks”. The first will be in early April, the next will be held in July and the last will be in early November. There is some flexibility around these dates to accommodate those practices and individuals who wish to participate.
